This idea struck me a few days ago, while I was waiting for a bus.
I saw a injured sparrow in the middle of the road.
It can't fly so it was flapping one wing dodging all the passing cars.
I wanted to save it but I saw it just when my bus came... and I was rushing to get to a pretty important destination. 
Not to mention how we are never given lessons on how to save birds from the middle of a busy intersection.
When I got back, I couldn't find the sparrow or the corpse anywhere >_> and I mean I checked all over the place.
So I would like to think it got away somehow.
